Songfacts®:

  • Yuck is an English rock band that that was founded by vocalists/guitarists Max Bloom and Daniel Blumberg, both formerly of the band Cajun Dance Party. They became Yuck in 2009 after being joined by bassist/vocalist Mariko Doi and drummer Jonny Rogoff. When Daniel Blumberg left the group in 2013, he was replaced by guitarist Ed Hayes.
  • Max Bloom explained that the song is about how we deal with relationships. He said: "We're all just blasting through space on a huge rock, so what's the point in maintaining a relationship? Is it all just doomed to failure, or is it the one thing that we should be holding on to the most in this world? Who knows!"
