Songfacts®:

  • This atmospheric cut finds guest vocalist Jon Bellion singing of being with a beautiful woman. Bellion is a songwriter, producer and rapper who has also worked with Eminem (his collaboration with Rihanna "The Monster") and Jason DeRulo ("Trumpets.")
  • Zedd explained his inspiration for the track in a Genius annotation:

"I wasn't a very confident kid. I became more confident as I grew older. There is a point in everyone's life when they think they might not be beautiful or are afraid of other people judging them.

Everybody has their own sense of what is beautiful and what somebody should look like—what they like, or what they dislike. I am into symmetry. That is my definition of beauty. Not just in people, I also like songs with symmetry. I like art with symmetry. I think the majority of people are beautiful. Victoria Justice is very beautiful."
