Songfacts®:

  • Chris Brown makes a guest appearance on this song. Zendaya wasn't fussed about which track Breezy appeared on, she just really wanted to sing with him. "I was with my parents and I was like, 'Hey bro, just want you to play my music. Whichever one you like'," she said at Essence's Black Women in Music pre-Grammy Event. "It happened to be the one I wanted him on, so bam!"
  • The song samples the horn hook from TLC's 1994 hit tune "Creep" who in turn borrowed from Slick Rick's 1988 song "Hey Young World."
  • Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds co-produced the song. He worked with TLC during the trio's heyday but not on "Creep."
