  • Excuse me if I seem a little unimpressed with this
An antisocial pessimist but usually I don't mess with this

Not exactly a party jam, but "Here" was one of the biggest songs of 2015, so it earned Alessia Cara a spot on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest, where she performed at the Hollywood stage. Producers either didn't notice or didn't mind the contrast between the celebratory atmosphere and the song about wanting to be back at home, away from these annoying people. The crowd gamely sang along and swayed to the beat, but Cara seemed in on the joke, wearing a nondescript black outfit for her performance and looking completely disinterested in her promotion photo for the event, where she holds a black balloon.
