  • "That horse tried to kill me."

    Stevie Nicks wrote the video for "Stand Back," but it was a mess to make and she hated it. In the clip, she plays an antebellum damsel who is visited by the ghost of her ex-lover. None of it makes much sense, but not many videos from this time period did.

    Nicks nixed it, shooting a performance piece instead that became the official video. The original, complete with her pithy commentary, seems to have been purged from the web.

I love the music video with a storyboard inspired on the Civil War, Scarlett, etc. Yesss, stevie rocks, I love "I can't wait", "edge of seventeen", "rooms on fire", "if you ever did believe" and many more.
