The Ludlow Massacre Monument commemorates the shameful events of April 20, 1914. The monument, which lists 18 names, including 13 children - including 3-month and 4-month old babies - was erected in 1918 by the mineworkers' union. Vandalized in 2003, the repaired monument was unveiled at the United Mine Workers of America annual Ludlow ceremony on June 5, 2005.
