  • I sold my soul to the devil for designer
They said, "Go to hell," but I told 'em I don't wanna
If you know me well, then you know that I ain't goin'
    'Cause I don't wanna, I don't wanna
    I don't wanna die young
The city of angels where I have my fun
    Don't wanna die young
When I'm gone, remember all I've done, 'one

    We've had our fun-un
    But now I'm done-one
'Cause you crazy (yeah), I can't take it (no)
Just wanted to see you naked
Heard time like money, can't waste it
What's the price of fame? 'Cause I can taste it
So I'm chasin' (yeah), and I'm facin'
A little Hennessy, it might be good for me

I sold my soul to the devil for designer
They said, "Go to hell," but I told 'em I don't wanna
If you know me well, then you know that I ain't goin'
    'Cause I don't wanna, I don't wanna
    I don't wanna die young
The city of angels where I have my fun
    Don't wanna die young
    When I'm gone, remember all I've done-one

Ho chiamato anche il diavolo per donargli l'anima ma
Dà dei dubbi anche a lui e mi sa che me la ridà
Non ho mai perso nulla tranne la dignità
    Ho più buchi della sanità
In zona mi chiamano sua Santità
    Wilson
La mia vita è una sit-com
    Solo gente di spicco
E tu scemo invidioso perché più famoso che ricco
    Scendo ad L.A.
    Vado a Frisco
Con 24k sto fumando un gelato davanti a uno sbirro
Scrivo col fumo fanculo al razzismo

I sold my soul to the devil for designer
They said, "Go to hell," but I told 'em I don't wanna
If you know me well, then you know that I ain't goin'
    'Cause I don't wanna, I don't wanna
    I don't wanna die young
The city of angels where I have my fun
    Don't wanna die young
When I'm gone, remember all I've done-one Writer/s: Golden Landis Von Jones, Nico Catalano, Omer Fedi

  • AnonymousThe meaning is obvious. It's an upbeat song about a guy who figuratively sells his soul to the devil for quick success - even if it's short-lived.

He doesn't actually mean he's making a deal with the devil, more that he wants quick success and willing to take a shortcut for it - but refuses to accept the consequences, because he wants to enjoy the riches as long as he can.

He refuse to "report to hell" since he wants to live it up more. It's allegorical to chasing fame and clout in LA.
  • Anonymous from CaliforniaIt doesn't tell what the meaning is, tho. Does anyone know?
