  • She paints her nails and she don't know
He's got her best friend on the phone
    She'll wash her hair
His dirty clothes are all he gives to her
And he's got posters on the wall
Of all the girls he wished she was
And he means everything to her

    Her boyfriend, he don't know
    Anything about her
    He's too stoned, Nintendo
I wish that I could make her see
She's just the flavor of the week

It's Friday night and she's all alone
    He's a million miles away
    She's dressed to kill
    But the TV's on
    He's connected to the sound
And he's got pictures on the wall
Of all the girls he's loved before
And she knows all his favorite songs

    Her boyfriend, he don't know
    Anything about her
    He's too stoned, Nintendo
I wish that I could make her see
She's just the flavor of the week

    Yeah

    Her boyfriend, he don't know
    Anything about her
He's too stoned, he's too stoned
He's too stoned, he's too stoned

    Her boyfriend, he don't know
    Anything about her
    He's too stoned, Nintendo
I wish that I could make her see
She's just the flavor of the week

Yeah she's the flavor of the week
But she makes me weak Writer/s: Stacy Jones

  • Steve from VegasLike Vicki from Cinnci said. He throws in Nintendo for no reason. "To let go" fits just as well, and would at least make SOME sense... lol
  • Caitlyn from Royersford, PaI love this song! Its really sweet and relateable because everybody knows a girl with a jerk boyfriend that doesnt deserve her
  • Hunter from South West, MiI totally agree with Melissa, Toledo. I have been to a few sites to try and find songs by this band, and i find nothing. Its odd too because this song was on a Now thats what i call music cd.
Its not like their unknown or nothing. Its strange
Another band im having a hard time finding is The Living End.
  • Vicky from Cincinnati, OhHe just says "Nintendo" after too stoned to make it rhyme. That bugs me. And he says too stoned way too much.

Other than that a pretty good song.
  • Melissa from ToledoI really like this song. It sucks that not a lot of people know about American Hi-Fi. They're a really good band.
  • Azzie from Manitoba, CanadaI've seen this song titled "Flavor of the Week" which I think suits my interpretation of it a lot better.

There's a girl and she's totally in love with her boyfriend, but he doesn't really care about her and there are a million girls he wishes she was instead. There's also another guy who sees this. He likes the girl and wants to show her that her boyfriend doesn't really care about her and she's just the 'flavor of the week'.
  • Melita from Wilts, EnglandGreat song. Not totally sure about the video (oh well, who cares, it is the music that matters). Yeah, that's all I have to say about that.
  • Marcus from Royersford, PaActually, the art of losing and the breakup song are pretty good too. That's just what I dled by them
  • Fgjdfgjdsfgj from Halifax, Canadanot there only good song people just aren't aware of there other good ones
  • Amanda from Galeton, PaThis song is awesome. Sure it's the only good song by these guys, but hey that doesn't matter, now does it?
