  • Whatever poisons in this bottle
will leave me broken sore and stiff
When it's the genie at the bottom who I'm sucking at,
he owes me one last wish
So here's a present to let you know I still exist
I hope the next boy that you kiss has something terribly contagious on his lips

    But I got a plan (I got a plan)
To drink for forty days and forty nights
A sip for every second-hand tick
And every time you fed the line,
“you mean so much to me”
    I'm without you

Tell all the English boys you meet
about the American boy back in the states
The American boy you used to date
who would do anything you say
Tell all the English boys you meet
about the American boy back in the states
The American boy you used to date
who would do anything you say

And even if her plane crashes tonight
she'll find some way to disappoint me,
by not burning in the wreckage,
or drowning at the bottom of the sea
Jess, I still taste you, and thus reserve my right to hate you
And all this empty space that you create
does nothing for my flawless sense of style
It's 8:45(it's 8:45), the weather is getting better by the hour(rains all the time)
I hope it rains there all the time
And if you ever said you miss me then don't say you never lied
    I'm without you

Tell all the English boys you meet
about the American boy back in the states
The American boy you used to date
who would do anything you say
Tell all the English boys you meet
about the American boy back in the states
The American boy you used to date
who would do anything you say,
who would do anything you say

Never gonna get it right, you're never gonna get it(15x)

O.k no more songs about you. After this one I am done. You're gone.[repeat until end]

Tell all the English boys you meet
about the American boy back in the states
The American boy you used to date
who would do anything you say
Tell all the English boys you meet
about the American boy back in the states
The American boy you used to date
who would do anything you say Writer/s: BRIAN LANE, GARRETT TIERNEY, JESSE LACEY, VINCENT ACCARDI

  • Jssmchh_rawr from Fayetteville, Ncthis was the first song that i feel in love with by brand new. and my boyfriend and i had just broken up, so it was extremely relavent to my life. "even if her plain crashes tonight, she'll find some way to dissapoint me, by not burning in the wreckage, or drowning at the bottom of the sea. jess, i still hate you, thus reserve my right to hate you." it means more to me i'm sure, because my name is jessica. hahah. "no more, songs about you, after this one i am done" because i'm a song writer. and of course the obvious "tell all the english boys you meet, about the american boy back in the states, the american boy you used to date, who would do anything you say." it's about a failed relationship, but i don't think taht it's about anything having to do with john nolan. it could have though, because most of the songs on "your favorite weapon" were inspired by the feud.
  • Thomas Chase from Wellsville, NyI think that this song is about the same girl in Seventy Times Seven. With the same story about her cheating with John Nolan. Good song. Great song.
  • Nicole from Birmingham, AlThis song is not about a girlfriend cheating. This song is clearly about a relationship that no longer exists because of the deceitful girl. She is apparently in England. He loved her; however, she was his best friend's girl [John Nolan's) and destroyed their friendship for awhile creating a great amount of spite towards her.
  • Stephanie from Moreno Valley, Cai love love love this song its so good and so well put together it contains my favorite lyrics in the world. "and even if her plane crashes tonight she'll find some way to dissapoint me by not burning in the werkage or drowning at the bottom of the sea "jess i still tate you thus reserve my right to hate you" and all this empty space that you create does nothnig for my flawless sence of style"
