O Holy Night

  • Oh holy night, the stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Til' He appeared and the soul felt it's worth

A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn

    Fall on Your knees
    Oh hear the Angel voices
    Oh night divine
Oh night when Christ was born
    Oh night, oh holy night
    Oh night divine

A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn

    Fall on Your knees
    Oh hear the Angel voices
    Oh night divine
Oh night when Christ was born
    Oh night, oh holy night
Oh night divine Writer/s: Adolphe Charles Adam, Jonathan Lambert Rathbone

  • Doe from Abbotsford.b.c.I cannot get through this song without crying. “Fall on your knees….I’m done, just a mess.
  • Sandy from UsaIt's just a matter of taste, I listen to Clay's version of this song any time of the year, sorry Josh Groban, but to me he is so boring.
  • Donna from Ft. Lauderdale, FlI'd listen to Josh Groban's recording of this beautiful song any day of the week, not just before Christmas! Sorry, Clay.
  • Mike from Norwalk, CtI'll never forget singing that song in the choir at NHS back in 85. I was newly Born Again and wow did that song get me! I was actually crying while singing it with everybody else! I don't know if anyone else got caught up in the spirit of that song or not. The lyrics are so powerful. Next time you hear it, really listen to it.
  • Patrick from Bremen, GaThis song is really emotional, especially at the "fall on your knees" part. Powerful stuff.
  • Jessica from Indianapolis, InThis is my absolute favorite Christmas song of all time. Simply beautiful.
