  • I can feel the magic floating in the air
Being with you gets me that way
I watch the sunlight dance across your face
And I've never been this swept away

All my thoughts just seem to settle on the breeze
When I'm lying wrapped up in your arms
The whole world just fades away
    The only thing I hear
Is the beating of your heart

'Cause I can feel you breathe
    It's washing over me
And suddenly, I'm melting into you
    There's nothing left to prove
Baby, all we need is just to be
    Caught up in the touch
    Slow and steady rush
Baby, isn't that the way that love's supposed to be?
    I can feel you breathe
    Just breathe

In a way, I know my heart is waking up
As all the walls come tumbling down
Closer than I've ever felt before
And I know, and you know
There's no need for words right now

'Cause I can feel you breathe
    Washing over me
And suddenly, I'm melting into you
    There's nothing left to prove
Baby, all we need is just to be
    Caught up in the touch
    The slow and steady rush
Baby, isn't that the way that love's supposed to be?
    I can feel you breathe
    Just breathe

    Caught up in the touch
    Slow and steady rush
Baby, isn't that the way that love's supposed to be?
    I can feel you breathe
    Just breathe

I can feel the magic floating in the air

  • D.booysen from South AfricaCan't still get enough of this is song. Just love this is song
  • Scott from PennsyltuckyDid Dolly Parton sing harmony on this song. I have a bet w my wife. I say she did!
  • Camille from Toronto, OhFaith Hill's catalog of hits is impressive. She's one of those artists with big appeal that's lasted many years. That alone impresses me, as so many are just a flash in the pan. This song will always remind me of the "New Millennium", New Year's Eve 1999, New Year's Day 2000 and "Y2K". The video had constant TV airplay during that Christmas/New Year's holiday season. While the video and song were high quality, and the lyrics of the song amazing, and I like it well enough, it's not my fav by Faith. I probably agree with Henry from Wheeling, that I like "Mississippi Girl" better (it should have been a bigger hit). She has lots more tunes that I love, "The Secret of Life", "The Lucky One" "Let Me Let Go", her incredible duet with Tim McGraw: "Like We Never Loved at All" and many many more.
  • Henry O. Godwinn from Wheeling, WvFaith Hill is pretty but not the most talented. I like her song Mississippi Girl better.
  • Doug from Kansas City, MoA truly fantastic song! I learned it and sang it to someone special.
  • Derek from Cambridge, New ZealandAn absolute classic!!!! My fave country song of all time.
