  • People say she's only in my head
It's gonna take time but I'll forget
They say I need to get on with my life
    But they don't realize

Is when your dialing six numbers just to hang up the phone
Driving cross town just to see if she's home
Waking a friend in the dead of night just to hear 'em say it's gonna be alright
When your finding things to do not to fall asleep
'Cause you know she'll be there in your dreams
    That's when she's
    More than a memory

Took a match to everything she ever wrote
Watched her words go up in smoke
Tore all the pictures off the wall
But that ain't helping me at all

'Cause when your talking out loud and nobody's there
You look like hell and you just don't care
Drinking more than you've ever drank
Sinking down lower than you've ever sank
When you find yourself falling down upon your knees
Praying to God begging him please
    That's when she's
    More than a memory

    She's more
    She's more

'Cause when your dialing her number just to hang up the phone
Driving cross town just to see if she's home
Waking a friend in the dead of night just to hear 'em say it's gonna be alright
When our finding things to do not to fall asleep
'Cause you know she'll be waiting in your dreams
    That's when she's
    More than a memory

People say she's only in my head
It's gonna take time but I'll forget Writer/s: Billy Montana, Kenneth Mobley Jr. Brice, Kyle Christopher Jacobs

  • Ron Lance from Valley Springs,ca.my life has become this song word for word after separating from my wife and the love I have for her has left me on several occasions on my knees begging god to help me and I have spent several nights talking to my wife only to discover she's not here ! this is a very powerful song cause my life has gone just as the song does I've tore down everything in the house to help me try to forget about her and move on but it's just not possible I have driven across town to many times to count just to park and hope to get a glimpse of her I lost the ability to dream after a head injury in a car wreck but after several years of not dreaming suddenly I'm having the most realistic dreams I've ever had and there all of her this song is as powerful to me as my love is for her !!
  • Terri Lynn Parman from Mound City, MissouriMy boyfriend and I both love this song!
  • Zach from Marion, InI would give anything in the world for Garth Brooks to make a come-back. He's the best musician to ever touch a stage. This song really made me believe a comeback is on the rise..if not, Good Ride Cowboy!!
  • Robert from Los Angeles, Cathis is a great song. i don't have anyone like this, but it still makes me sad, cause i know people who do.
