  • Joao from BrazilThe DirecTV shutdowns of nickelodeon in 2010s feature this song
  • Josie from United Statesthis song always made me cry and sing my heart out
  • Alvin L. Gilcrist from Seattle WaGotye and Kimbra hit every emotion with this one. It's a common experience in life and in love but (thankfully) rarely this deep. Give me more...in song.
  • Goose from Sydney AustraliaLove the way this song hit me with an emotional sledge hammer half way thru. opens with a song about a cool relatable guy who's hard done by, who portrays his ex not being very reasonable, maybe even a bit nasty post the break up. Then the female singer comes in with her perspective and WOW! you have to reassess your whole understanding of the song opening as its flipped on its head and you think, "hey maybe this guy isn't deserving of our sympathy after all?!" and it all gets real and complicated just like all relationships are, its never just one sided. I end up re-assessing my own relationship break ups where I'm guilty of complaining about ex partners and makes me realise I was never the ideal partner either!
  • Seventhmist from 7th HeavenHe said, she said.
  • A.k from K.lIs it me, or the starting jingle reminds me of Baa Baa Black Sheep melody.. XD
  • Michael from Luxembourg, LuxembourgLeon and Luke, if you think this sounds similar, have a good listen to Cris Cab, liar liar. You'd think Sting had had a son in a Group called The Army.

As to Gotye's song, I'm sorry but am REALLY disappointed nobody here has yet made the link to XTC, Senses working overtime. His mother must have been listening to this all day long for months when he was in her womb.
  • Bruce from San Jose, CaI agree that this is a very emotionally "raw" and "real-from-the-heart" song...those are usually the BEST kind!
  • Chris from Munich, GermanyThere is a new cover our: Mayday Parade feat. Vic Fuentes. This week New entry in the US-Rockcharts (#18). Mayday Parade is an american rock band from Tallahassee, Florida. It is on the thirteenth Album of the Series "Punk Goes Pop...:". Vic Fuentes is a Rock musician from San Diego, California.
  • Megan from Stevenson, AlBest song I've heard in a long time! By far the best music out today! :) He's a very unique artist, but that's how you know he's real.
  • Luke from Auckland, New ZealandYes, I too thought it was Sting when I first heard it (and continued to until finding out much later that it wasn't, to my utmost surprise). It definitely has late-(solo) Sting written all over it -- same 'mood' and style, as if mimicked! Uncanny is all I can say!
  • Jayd from Nyc, Nyleon, i also thought it was sting singing. i mainly like the build up to the catchy chorus which makes this song popular and then the female singer at end
  • Leon from Dokkum, Netherlandsam i the only one who feels like it kinda reminds you of the police , in a very vague kinda way. anyway its a pretty good song!
  • Susan from Airdrie, -I heard this song on CBC Radio 2 for the first time today. WOW. It's just amazing. So simple and yet so deep. I love his voice and Kimbra's part. I can't stop listening to the song and now have to find more about this guy & his music!
