  • Forfeit the game before somebody else
Takes you out of the frame
    Puts your name to shame
Cover up your face, you can't run the race
The pace is too fast, you just won't last

You love the way I look at you
While taking pleasure in the awful things you put me through
You take away if I give in
My life, my pride is broken

You like to think you're never wrong
    You live what you've learned
You have to act like you're someone
    You live what you've learned

You want someone to hurt like you
    You live what you've learned
You want to share what you've been through
You live what you've learned, learned, learned, learned

You love the things I say I'll do
The way I'll hurt myself again just to get back at you
You take away if I give in
My life, my pride is broken

You like to think you're never wrong
    You live what you've learned
You have to act like you're someone
    You live what you've learned

You want someone to hurt like you
    You live what you've learned
You want to share what you've been through
    You live what you've learned

Takes you out of the frame

  • Zero from Nowhere, NjWhen Brad layed down the original guitar track for this song, Mike cut it up and pasted the chords back ina different order. When Brad heard how it sounded, he loved it and called Mike a genuis and compared him to Trent Reznor.
  • Keyondra Brooks from Atlanta, Gaum i know he didnt have a good childhood and that he suffered from sexual abuse from a "friend".I also know that he was addicted to drugs once.I actually thought that Papercut was about being on drugs, but Idk.their songs are pretty much bout anything thats what makes them good.hes been divorced also
  • Serenity from West Tisbury, MaThis is my favorite song at the moment. I didn't actually /listen/ to the lyrics, so I didn't know the actual meaning behind them.

It's got a good message, since I tend to get pushed around by my so called, "Friends" (like Ashton).
  • Ashton from Cumberland, NjI love this song. It's one of my favorite songs that they play. When I was younger a lot of my classmates and "friends" used to walk all over me. Ever since I started listening to this song I've rebeled against that.
  • Elmer from Zamboanga, Philippinescn any1 tell me abt the whole lyf of chester???wikipedia doesnt xplain all
