She's so very nice you should break the ice
Let her know that she's on your mind
Whatcha tryin' to hide when you know inside
She's the best thing you'll ever find?
    Ahh, can't you see it?
Don't you think she's feeling the same?
    Ahh, I guarantee it,
She's the one that's calling your name

    CHORUS:
You should hear how she talks about you,
You should hear what she says
She says she would be lost without you,
She's half out of her head (out of her head)
You should hear how she talks about you,
    She just can't get enough.
She says she would be lost without you,
    She is really in love.

(spoken) She's in love with you boy

I ain't tellin' tales, anybody else
Could repeat the things that I've heard
She's been talkin' sweet and it's on the street
How our girlfriend's spreadin' the word

    Ahh, you should hurry,
You should let her know how you feel
    Ahh, now don't you worry
If you're scared this love is for real

You should hear how she talks about you,
You should hear what she says
She says she would be lost without you,
She's half out of her head (out of her head)
You should hear how she talks about you,
    She is really in love
    (She is really in love)

    Ahh, you should hurry
You should let her know how you feel
    Ahh, now don't you worry
If you're scared this love is for real

    CHORUS

Talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk

    Can'tcha see? (Can'tcha see?)
    It's me!

    CHORUS

  • Richard Silva from Spokane, Wa UsaI love everything about this song, but especially the key changes that thread through it. It is such an upbeat evocative tune.
  • Oldies76 from North Port, FlHuge, upbeat tune from the Fall of 1982, but yet, most radio stations ignore this gem! 10/10 smash!
  • Dawn from Palmerston North, New Zealand1980's roll in again. Even after all these years, I can still remember the words. Shows you how old I am.

  • Paul from Detroit, MiThis song has a huge hook, that you can't resist. I loved it. I have satellite radio, and they ignore so many great songs from the 70's and 80's. I have not heard this one since it was popular.
  • Jeff from Boston, MaI hadn't thought at all about this song in probably 25 years until I stumbled across a reference to it recently. It seems forgettable now, but in its day it was very danceable and played *constantly* on the radio. It was part of a wave of songs at that time that focused on a female character who was a little crazy or a little dangerous (Laura Branigan's "Gloria", Kim Carnes' "Bette Davis Eyes", Hall and Oates' "Maneater".)
