• Josh from UkThe chorus was really l rewritten by Leeds United fans as a retort to Frank Lampard (of Frank Lampard's Derby County) consistently whining to anyone that would listen about trivial matters. Of their four meetings in the 2018/19 Championship season, Leeds United won three of them, with Derby winning the fourth to send them to Wembley, thus endangering the extent to which Leeds United fans could enjoy this taunt. Two weeks later, Derby County were comfortably beaten in the Championship playoff final, condemning them to yet another year in English football's second tier, giving 'Stop Crying Frank Lampard' back to the Leeds United fans, as they watch their team mercilessly beat the perennial bottlers and their cockney wanker of a manager to a pulp
