• Servant Of The Most HighProject Looking Glass— look it up.
  This song, like many Spliknot songs (gematria, example) shows the reality of the higher elites that famous people create and how Hollywood or as it’s put in this song “hollow”wood, empty, void, is a bunch of mannequins that are puppets for entertainment. He clearly says “it’s the STARS”…when you see the video, you see Linking Park, Paris Hilton, and many other artists being portrayed as simple cardboard. They get paid to lie to us and expose us to ungodly behavior. “We thought came from the heart, but never did once from the start”. They are told a lie, the same one Jesus was told in the desert “I’ll give you all this if you bow down to me” and then there isn’t a way out. It’s just so funny to me how no one understood this (me included) because it blows our imagination but now that social media has caught several “mannequins” failing and having “mechanical breakdowns” in public, it all makes sense that the ENTERtainment industry is just a portal to numb us. Turn away from evil and turn to Jesus. Sin=death and blood=life, that’s why he shed his blood for us. To save us from where this world wants to take us to!!! Eternal damnation. Come as you are and just call out to Jesus!!!!!!!

While watching, he was surprised at how many were not aware of what they were saying/singing. It seemed to him that people were simply there, going through the motions, just to become famous. This apparently made him mad as he believed these disingenuous efforts made it harder for artists like himself.
  
  Perhaps this gives a clue or two concerning the song's meaning. So few in the music world that write their own songs, mean what they write and perform them like they mean it. So many covers, so many fakes.... lies for profit, seems to be the industry.
• The OverthinkerI saw it as a father giving their kid life advice about being on their own and how they will grow up and be a parent and when you look in the mirror you will be staring at the dad because the kid is now a dad “remember what you’re staring at is me” but In that sense it’s also like an apology. How hard it is being a parent and telling them to stay away from people because they are fake and and things you followed and believed could be a lie. Now In the very beginning of the song it says “don’t know how much time has passed oh god it feels like forever” and the parent and child are meeting again when the kid grows up and has his own family. He asks the kid how he feels and stuff then he says “ when something like a Soul becomes initialized and fold it up” like how you kind of lose yourself and dreams when you spend the rest of your life dedicated to your children which leads back to what I said about how hard it is being a parent which makes it sad. Then it says “and while you’re outside, looking in describing what you see” was the dad asking the kid about how life and parenting has been then says “remember what you’re staring at me” saying yeah that’s me and that’s how it was for me. He talks about how meticulous and tedious parenting is what he says “it feels like forever but no one ever tells you that forever feels like home sitting all alone inside your head” and people want to be parents but no one ever tells you how hard it is. Then it talks about questions and what you’re supposed to do and the “manikins contaminating everything” is the media and stuff giving false information on how to raise a child and influencing the child in bad ways. The part that always gets me is “before you tell yourself it’s just a different scene remember it’s just different from what you’ve seen” how the kid was parented vs how the kid is parenting. In the end it talks about the “stars that shine for you” then the “stars that lie to you” is about the people and stuff that you followed and believed and how parenting on tv is not how it actually is and it’s all a lie.

  While I know the song as whole is about other things, when ever I hear this I can't help but wonder if this is what life is like for my son. He is autistic and can't speak much even though he is 20. The "Glass" being his unique processing of the world as he does his day to day things alone in his head as doesn't talk to people. Sadly he hasn't shown much interest in other forms of communication either.

"the glass" being their reality misconstrued by their illness/anxiety. In most counties they don’t have physical visits you sit in a both and talk to your loved ones through a plexiglass window and it really sucks. The person see's how much the person inside has regret of the outside world. The stars represent dreams, and when that person in the home has the dreams that he/she cant accomplish, that person feels lied to and like nothing. The person on the outside knows how the person on the inside feel's; alone and like nothing is worth it, but the person on the outside see's how special the person on the inside is. I know how it feels. I'm stuck inside my home all the time, and I have one person who believes I can follow my dreams, while i feel trapped by my parents. I look at the stars and see something special, but can never reach that goal.

I don't like Slipknot and those kinds of musical groups but I do like this song. Perhaps its because he sings on this one and doesn't scream obseninities and it actually sounds good.
