  • Lady, Lady
    Lady, Lady

Won't you come here and lie, Lady Lynda, with me
We can lie in the green canyon meadow
And we'll hear the birds sing in the spring
Don't you know if you'll stay, Lady Lynda, with me
We can talk about love ever after
When you lie, Lady Lynda, with me

Lynda, won't you say that we can be near
Cannot deny there've been hard times
    Ooh
Darlin', evolution is drawing us near
    Look in my eyes, whoa

Lynda, won't you say that I am your man
Don't look surprised, it's all in his plan
    Ooh
But darlin', evolution is drawing us near
    Lie, Lady, lie

(Ooh Lady, won't you lie, Lady)

Now won't you stay, Lady Lynda, with me
We can talk about love ever after
When you lie, Lady Lynda, with me
(Ooh, Lady, won't you lie, Lady)
(Won't you, ooh, Lady, won't you stay, Lady, with me)
    When you lie, Lady Lynda

    Come along with me
(Ooh, Lady, won't you lie, Lady)
    (Won't you lie with me)
(Darlin' you know you make my heart sing)
Won't you come along and sing a song (ooh, Lady, won't you lie, Lady)
Sing the song of love (Won't you lie with me)
(Darlin' your love is like the coming spring)
Won't you come along and sing a song (ooh, Lady, won't you lie, Lady)
Sing the song, my love (won't you stay with me)
(Darlin' your love is like the coming spring)
Won't you come along and sing a song (ooh, Lady, won't you lie, Lady)
Sing the song of love (Won't you lie with me)
(Darlin' your love is like the coming spring)
Won't you come along and sing a song (ooh, Lady, won't you lie, Lady)

  • Steven F Kenyon from New ZealandA great song, loved it for a looong time, beautifully written and sung by the boys
  • Sabrina from Corvallis, OrLady Lynda is ok, but I prefer the version known as Lady Liberty.
  • Miguel from Chico, CaIt's on the LA (Light Album)...

Seems to me this one almost (or slightly) hit the Top 40. Reminded me of "Annie's Song" in that it was beautiful and spoke of lifelong love...and was thus kind of heartbreaking to me when I realized the singer had divorced said wife.
  • Paul from Southend-on-sea, EnglandBrian wilson is a song writing genius, bet he wished he wrote this.
  • Anna Marie from Douglassville, PaJust got done watching the Live at Knebworth DVD.
The harmony on "Lady Lynda" was so beautiful. I never really appreciated this song when it was first released but the live version made me a reborn Beach Boy fan.
  • Nancy from Montreal, CanadaI love this song. It's very beautiful and catchy.
  • Bill from Houston, TxI was luck to find this song on the Live at Knebworth Album...I love it. Where else is this song?
