  • God sometimes you just don't come through
God sometimes you just don't come through
Do you need a woman to look after you
God sometimes you just don't come through

You make pretty daisies pretty daisies love
I gotta find what you're doing about things here
A few witches burning gets a little toasty here
I gotta find why you always go when the wind blows
Tell me you're crazy maybe then I'll understand
You got your nine iron in the back seat just in case
Heard you've gone south well babe you love your new four wheel
I gotta find why you always go when the wind blows

(Give not thy strength unto women nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings)

Will you even tell her if you decide to make the sky fall
Will you even tell her if you decide to make the sky

God sometimes you just don't come through
God sometimes you just don't come through
Do you need a woman to look after you
God sometimes you just don't come through Writer/s: TORI AMOS

  • Anthony Reilley from West VirginiaIf the Abrahamic God truly exists, he would never need a poorly written book of fables to tell us so, don't you think, Lupe? He would come to each of us personally and say hello.
  • Lupe Torres from Some PlaceShe's never met Jesus. If she thinks she met Him under a tree she was high on something.
The Bible makes it very clear who Jesus/God IS.
I'm 75, have roamed this world, studied the 'religions' and found that the God of the Bible is the ONLY one that speaks truth and has the proof of thousands that saw Him and verified Him.
That others don't want to believe this makes me sad but it's their choice. Scripture points that out. You have two paths. One leads to eternal life with God the other an eternal life of misery and suffering.
  • Richard Pickel from MaThere is a female god. Friday is Frigg's Day. Or Frigga. Depending on who you ask. She's married to Oden. Or Odin. He's the chief god of the norsemen. Or vikings. Wednesday is Odin's day. It was spelled Woden in the olden days. They adopted Thursday. I mean Thor's Day. I mean, Thor.
  • European Qoheleth from Co. Cork, IrelandThe reasoning is specious. Strictly speaking God doesn't actually have a gender and has only ''presented'' as male.
  • Theresa from Murfreesboro, TnShe says what everyone else is afraid to say. She's one of a kind.
  • Deb from Melbourne, AustraliaIn Tori's book Piece by Piece she refers to the song as coming from the perspective of Mrs. God
