Songfacts®:

  • "Bigger Than You" contains assists from Drake and Migos rapper Quavo. The braggadocios banger features new verses from 2 Chainz, where he boasts about his expensive jewelry, and by Drake, who spits about his humble beginnings.

Quavo's intro, hook and outro is taken from his unreleased remix to Travis Scott's "Butterfly Effect." Murda Beatz co-produced both "Butterfly Effect" and "Bigger Than You," so it seems like he and Quavo decided to re-use some of the old vocals after the remix was shelved.
  • Both guest artists previously made cameos on 2 Chainz's 2017 album Pretty Girls Like Trap Music (Quavo on "Good Drank" and "Blue Cheese", Drake on "Big Amount"). The Drench God has also worked with Drizzy on older songs such as "All Me" and "No Lie."
