  • Savage 21 explains here that the reason for his success is that he "grew up in the streets without no heart."

Young Savage, why you trappin' so hard?
Why these niggas cappin' so hard?
Why you got a 12 car garage?
Why you pullin' all these rappers cards?
'Cause these niggas pussy and I'm hard
I turn that f---in' soft into some hard
I grew up in the streets without no heart

Savage told Genius in a video interview: "People who look up to you the most and wanna be you, or wanna be what you are, do what you doin, them be the people that hate you the most. I'm not surprised that somebody who listens to my s--t all day probably don't like me 'cause that's what I expect from them."
  • The gritty video finds 21 Savage and Metro Boomin recreating the infamous convenience store scene in Menace II Society. Later an unsuspecting person is riddled with bullets during a card game.
  • The rapper didn't originally plan to put the song on Savage Mode. "I wasn't finna put 'No Heart' on there," 21 told Genius. "Metro just did what he did to the s--t. Sent it back to me and I was like, 'Alright. This s--t sound cool.' The s--t came out and everybody was just like, 'Young Savage, why you…' and all that s--t, and I was like, 'Alright. What's up?'"
