Songfacts®:

  • The one big ballad on Bad Vibrations, the song deals with a loved one who is an addict. Singer Jeremy McKinnon explained to Kerrang!: "It's a story about addiction and about an addict that you care for. But it's also feeling that you kind of enable them at the same time, and saying, 'I'll be there for you, no matter how many times you keep doing this, because I care for you."
  • Former ADTR guitarist Tom Denney helped write this. Guitarist Kevin Skaff explained to Chorus FM: "He didn't work with us in the room live. He just went into his own little place. He had written this song and we thought the verse was really cool. So we took the verse out of his song and made it into 'Forgive and Forget.'"
