• "Am I The Only Only One" is a country song, a genre Lewis has pursued since releasing his solo single "Country Boy" in 2010. He penned the track with Ira Dean (formerly of the country group Trick Pony) and Nashville songwriter Jeffrey Steele.
• Lewis debuted the America-first ballad on March 12, 2021 at a solo concert held at Billy Bob's Texas, a nightclub in Fort Worth, Texas. The state had removed all COVID pandemic restrictions the same month.
• This isn't the first politically charged solo song Lewis has written. He performed his liberal-bashing song "If I Were A Liberal" at the same Billy Bob's Texas gig, and his patriotic 2017 single "Folded Flag" plays tribute to the American men and women who serve their nation.
• Released on July 2, 2021, two days before Independence Day, the song's patriotic sentiments struck a chord with many. Propelled by promotion from right-leaning outlets such as Fox News and SiriusXM's Patriot Radio, it became only the ninth song to debut at #1 on the Country chart. "Am I The Only Only One" also entered the Hot 100 at #14, overtaking Lewis' previous best solo placing of #87 achieved by "Country Boy."
  
  It fell short of Staind's highest chart position; "It's Been Awhile" climbed all the way to #5 in 2001.
• Asked during an appearance on The Daily Wire's "Candace" show why he called out Springsteen, Lewis said: "Because he's always portrayed himself as the all-American middle-class guy. And during all of this craziness, he said that if one man is re-elected to the office of presidency that he was gonna move to Australia. How American is that? You're gonna bail on America just because you don't like the guy that may have gotten into office?"
