  "I was freaking out," he admitted. "You make a lot of stuff as a creative, but it's rare that you're actually happy with any of it. But this? This was different. I just knew. I was like, 'Yo, this is special. Trust me. This is crazy.'"
  
  First, he had to find a home for the track and Stryv thought it might be a good fit for Keinemusik.
  
  Serendipitously, a Keinemusik rep had recently posted a tweet asking who had produced "Paid" from Ye and Ty Dolla $ign's Vultures 1album. When the rep was told it was Stryv, this led him to a Berlin coffee shop, where he met Adam Port. Over espressos, the two exchanged ideas, and before long, Stryv sent over the track he'd crafted by the Pacific.
  
  "I told them, 'Look, I have this idea. If we do this right, it could really work. You guys are already playing a ton of Afrobeat remixes - why not take the next step and make an original track instead of just reworking other people's music?'"
  
  Port agreed. Soon, they were in the studio together, reshaping the song from a radio-friendly cut into something primed for the dancefloor.
  
  "And just like that, the song went from being a pitch record to an artist collaboration," Stryv recalled.
