  • Tracey's real name is Ché Wolton Grant. He was named Ché after the revolutionary Ché Guevera.
  • Tracey started his music career using the stage names Looney and Loonz. His debut mixtape, Didn't Make the Cut, was released September 13, 2012.
  • He is a self-confessed anime addict and his work is littered with classic game samples. He told The Independent anime and football are the only things "I like as much as music."
  • Tracey is a Tottenham Hotspur FC supporter.
  • Listening to rock music encouraged Tracey to put more emotion into his rhymes. "I used to listen to tons of that: 30 Seconds To Mars, Bullet for My Valentine and Breaking Benjamin," he said. "When I put my first project out ages ago, I didn't want to show anyone my emotions. Now I think it’s better for people to understand how I am as a person and let them relate. It’s about sharing your life with people, putting your essence into the track."
  • AJ Tracey appeared on stage at the BRIT Awards aged 11 as a backing dancer for Gorillaz.
