Songfacts®:

  • Andy Grammer and his wife Aijia welcomed their new baby, Louisiana, into this world in July 2017. This was the lullaby he sang to his little daughter to get her to sleep. Speaking to ABC Radio three months later, Grammer said Baby Lou is still too young to appreciate the song.

"She's three months old, so it's still like a little bit of me singing it to her for me," he laughed. "But right when she was born and she was crying... I'd put her in the little cart and [take] her on a walk, and would just sing that song to her."
