Songfacts®:

  • "Haciendo Que Me Amas" finds Bad Bunny looking back at a relationship that is nearing its end. He recalls his lover smiling and kissing him the day they met. Now, he doesn't trust her gaze and her kisses don't taste the same. During the chorus, Benito tells his romantic partner to be honest and tell him it's over.
  • The song's title translated into English is "Making You Love Me."
  • Bad Bunny recorded the vulnerable track for El Último Tour del Mundo (Spanish for "The Last Tour of the World"). Conceived during the 2020 COVID lockdown, the record is more introspective than most of the Puerto Rican artist's previous party-style fare. He explained to Apple Music that it draws upon his fantasies about what the songs in his last concert show would sound like. "It's as if I spent my final tour of 2032 advancing the word from 2020," Bad Bunny said.
  • Working under quarantine didn't change the way Bad Bunny recorded his music. He explained to Billboard that he used the same method he always uses, working with longtime collaborator and sound engineer La Paciencia.

"I write anywhere - in my hotel room, on the plane, in my house," he said. "I kept creating my songs and I had them ready to go so that the moment I was able to get together with La Paciencia, I would record them immediately."
  • Written solo by Bad Bunny, this song is one of nine El Último Tour del Mundo tracks produced by the Brazilian producer Mag.
