Songfacts®:

  • This summertime groover features vocals by American R&B star Chris Brown. "Chris and I were working on this song for a while," said Benassi. "We both always really loved it and believed in it and I am so glad it's now out."
  • Benassi and Brown previously teamed up for Breezy's 2011 single "Beautiful People."
  • The word "paradise" dates back to the ancient Iranian language Avestan where Paridayda originally meant "walled enclosure." By the 6th/5th century BC, it had come to indicate the carefully tended royal parks and menageries.

The term eventually appeared in Greek when the historian Xenophon used the word Parádeisos to denote the parks of Persian kings and nobles. It was used in the sense paradise in the Greek translation of the Bible, and through Latin entered Old English, where it meant "the Garden of Eden" and later "heaven."
