Songfacts®:

  • This is a track from Sir Luscious Left Foot: Son Of Chico Dusty, the solo debut album by OutKast member Big Boi. The rapper explained to NME that the titular knighted character is in fact him. "Luscious Left Foot is the knight in rhyming armour," he said. "I didn't have a chance to come over to the UK and have the Queen knight me, so I knighted myself. Soul-funk crusader number one."
Big Boi added that Chico Dusty was his father, a retired air force pilot who passed away as he began work on the album.
