  • Frontman Ben Kowalewicz told Kerrang! May 30, 2009: "Ian (D'Sa, guitar) brought this crazy riff into practice. It was the last song we wrote for the record. He brought the riff in at 10:30 p.m. I was singing at 11 p.m. and the song was done by midnight. The song came together so quickly. It's about witches and witchcraft. We started thinking about the Salem witch-hunts. The stories are mind-blowing, people would do such cruel things to these women. We wrote the song about a girl who didn't fit in this town. She didn't sing in church, so people said she was a witch and hanged her. She seeks revenge on the town by haunting the people who killed her until they die."
