  • This feel-good romp doesn't have any deep lyrical meaning. Released amid the 2020 coronavirus pandemic, it's designed to lift quarantining people out of their anxieties and worries and onto the dance floor.

    All night
Get, get, get to livin', feelin' alright
Dancin' out the denim in 'em, oh my Levis
I got the fuse, if you got the light
I got the all, if y'all got the night
    All night

"We love to write very heartfelt, deep songs, but every now and again you need a song that's just about having a good time and partying and letting your hair down and not overthinking it," said John Osborne. "And that's the song I feel like the world could probably need right about now with all the stress and quarantine that we're going through, so put on your dancing boots, crank this one up and commence to dancin.'"
  • The brother duo wrote the song with their friend Andrew DeRoberts. The Nashville songwriter previously collaborated with Brantley Gilbert for the singer's similarly themed song "The Weekend."
  • John and TJ Osborne's longtime collaborator Jay Joyce produced the track.
  • The song was born in DeRoberts' home studio when John Osborne picked up a baritone guitar to play along with a drum groove that Andrew DeRoberts had.

"We just started kind of riffing a little bit," TJ recalled to ABC Audio. "And we kind of came to this idea where we thought it'd be fun just to take these compound words and split 'em up, to where if you have this half, I've got the other, and, you know, to eventually end with the hook."

"You got the 'all,'" he explained, "I got the 'night' - 'all night.' And it was really not much more than that."
  • The song's music video plays on how hard it is for a single guy to hang out with friends and have a normal social life during the pandemic. When the guy in the video runs out of ways to entertain himself at home, the Osborne brothers come to the rescue by sending a surprise box filled with covid-approved guests – puppets.

Wes Edwards and Ryan Silver directed the video. The same duo were also behind the clip for "It Ain't My Fault," which won Music Video of the Year at the 2018 CMA and ACM Awards.

"'All Night' was a blast to make," said John Osborne. "We wanted to do a performance video as that's not something we've really done but we wanted to do it in our own style. Wes and Ryan always push the boat out in the most unpredictable ways and this video is no exception."
  • The brothers had their fans in mind when they penned this tune with Andrew DeRoberts. "We wanted to write a song that just felt good. We didn't want to think too hard about it," said John Osborne. "We wanted to write a song that no matter what happened we knew that our fans at our shows were gonna love to sing along to (it), and that's what we did."
