Songfacts®:

  • Bryan Adams said in the Daily Mail March 7, 2008 about this song regarding the unexpected finding of love against all expectation: "It's about keeping an open mind. I don't think I've seen everything at all."
  • This was co-written by Robert "Mutt" Lange. Lange had previously co-written a song of the same title with Huey Lewis for his then wife Stevie Vann, which she recorded on her 1995 self-titled album. Because of questions that arose because of this co-incidence, Adams was forced to confirm on his website that this was a completely new composition and that the title and Lange were the only similarities to the song.
