Songfacts®:

  • Camila Cabello celebrated her first night as Bruno Mars' opening act during his 24K Magic World Tour by premiering this playful steel drum-tinged track. Introducing the song, the Latino singer asked everybody to close their eyes, pretend they were in Jamaica and wind their waists, before launching into the lyrics.
  • The reggaeton-heavy track finds Cabello switching between English and Spanish lyrics on the bridge. "On songs like that, she's talking about growing up in South Miami, and when you get into that Cuban world and how she grew up, I think it just comes out naturally," co-producer Louis Bell told MTV News about Cabello's Spanish lyrics. "That's just who she is."
  • Camila’s mother, Sinuhe, helped her write the Spanish lyrics.
