  • This was written by Larry Raspberry, who was a member of The Gentrys. They had a hit in 1965 with "Keep On Dancing."
  • Spoiled Girl was the only album Simon released on Epic Records. He albums weren't selling well, and this one didn't either. But her next album, Coming Around Again, was released on Arista and proved successful.

  • Robbie from Elizabethtown, KyShould have been hit from Simon's ill-fated 1985 "Spoiled Girl" album. This song and the actual "Spoiled Girl" track were intended to be a cross over from Carly's adult contemporary "hell" she was stuck in ever since 1980's "Come Upstairs" and 1983's "Hello Big Man" into the more Madonna-ish pop scene of the day. Needless to say this alienated fans of her earlier work and went virtually un-noticed by it's intended audience due to lack of marketing on Epic's end.
