Songfacts®:

  • This was the first single to be taken from Swedish-American pop/rock band Carolina Liar's debut album, Coming to Terms.
  • On this song a tiny Wurlitzer organ is played. The Swedish production legend Max Martin (Pink, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson) helmed Coming to Terms and he encouraged the band to experiment with different musical instruments. Carolina Liar frontman and songwriter Chad Wolf explained to RockFeedback: "Working with Max [Martin] was a really cool experience, and he gave us access to loads of different instruments, then we met one of the guys from the Cardigans, and he had loads of instruments too, so we just started experimenting! We didn't know how half of them worked, so we approached each instrument differently, learning to see what happened."
  • This song has featured on a number of TV shows including ABC Family's 10 Things I Hate About You, Fox's King of the Hill and CBS's Harper's Island . It also was used in the soundtrack for the 2008 romantic comedy What Happens in Vegas .
