Songfacts®:

  • Commenting for Rolling Stone in May 2002, Rob Sheffield said of this Mutt Lange composition it is "sure to inspire many hours of dull debate with Bernie Taupin."

This was obviously a reference to "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word," with which it has nothing in common. Whatever the Elton John lyricist thought of it, it was unlikely to have given him sleepless nights. Just the opposite in fact, though it was perhaps a little unkind or even bizarre for the reviewer to allude to Miss Dion's voice as "just furniture polish."
  • Lange also produced the song, which runs to 5 minutes 19 seconds with a radio edit of 4 minutes 23 seconds. It was recorded at Studio Piccolo and released November 18, 2002. >>>
