Songfacts®:

  • This is the second single by British rapper Chipmunk, from his sophomore studio album, Transition. The song features US R&B superstar Chris Brown.
  • When the song leaked on the net on November 24, 2010, Chipmunk said it felt like "a bullet in the heart." In an interview with BBC Newsbeat, the rapper explained: "When it [the track] leaked, I was looking at the sky asking, 'God, why?' I just didn't understand. The amount of thought process that went into that track, the amount of battles we had for that track."
  • The video was shot in Miami by Colin Tilley, the man behind the lens for Chris Brown and Tyga's "Deuces" clip.
  • Chris Brown has been a controversial figure since being convicted of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. However, Chipmunk told MTV UK that despite whilst others having reservations, he knew Breezy was the right man for the song. The British rapper revealed: "What I wanted from this song was for it to touch hearts so if it does that, I will be extremely happy. I just couldn't imagine anyone else singing on it but him, so I sent it over to him. He loved it and I told him he could have a verse."
  • Brown's attempt at rapping on this electro-R&B stomper brought plaudits from Chipmunk. He told MTV UK: "I feel like it was absolutely amazing and brought a whole other dimension to the song. I was trying to work out why he wanted to do it on my song but I just loved it! His verse is his view about how he feels about his life right now and he chose to expose it on my record. He has very talented rapping skills."
