  • Chloe x Halle are an R&B duo comprising sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey. They were born in Atlanta and grew up in Mableton, Georgia, with their parents, Courtney and Doug Bailey. They moved to Los Angeles in 2012.
  • Chloe and Halle launched a YouTube channel at the ages of 13 and 11, respectively, and began uploading covers of popular songs.
  • Chloe x Halle's cover of Beyoncé's "Pretty Hurts" went viral in 2013. The video was viewed over 10 million times on YouTube and caught the attention of Beyoncé herself. She was so impressed with Chloe x Halle's talent that she signed them to her management company, Parkwood Entertainment, in 2015.
  • They released their debut studio album, The Kids Are Alright, in 2018. It earned them their first two career Grammy Award nominations for Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best New Artist.
  • Both sisters are also actresses. While in Georgia, Chloe Bailey played minor acting roles in films, including The Fighting Temptations (2003), starring Beyoncé, and the Disney television film Let It Shine (2012).

    Halle Bailey made her acting debut in Last Holiday (2006). Her first lead role was playing Princess Ariel in Disney's 2023 The Little Mermaid live-action remake.
  • Chloe and Halle played twin sisters Jazlyn "Jazz" Forster and Skylar "Sky" Forster in the sitom Grown-ish (2018-2022). They also sang the opening theme, "Grown."
  • Chloe released her debut solo single, "Have Mercy," in 2021. Halle released "Angel," her first solo venture outside the songs she recorded for The Little Mermaid, in 2023.
  • Halle likes to make beaded earrings and necklaces, which she started selling on Etsy in April 2021.
