Album: Night Songs (1986)

Songfacts®:

  • This was Cinderella's first single. It didn't chart, but it did get some radio play and helped established the band, who were discovered by Jon Bon Jovi.
  • The song is a straightforward rocker about sex. Cinderella had more success with their power ballads like "Nobody's Fool" and "Don't Know What You Got (Till It's Gone)." Most of their songs, including this one and all their hits, were written by their lead singer Tom Keifer.
  • The video has a Cinderella theme: a girl with some evil sisters is working, and her sisters taunt her as they are going to the Cinderella concert and she isn't. When they leave, a guitar falls down from the girl's Cinderella poster, and then she is magically transported to the front row of the concert, while her sisters can't get in. The story continues in the video for "Nobody's Fool."
