  • Colorado native Clare Dunn paid for her schooling at Belmont University by driving a silage truck through the Dust Bowl during semester breaks. While still at college, she earned extra cash by providing the female voice supporting Luke Bryan on the hook of his hit tune "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)."

    After graduating, Dunn hit the road and moved to Nashville. After, the Colorado native's debut single "Get Up" was picked up by SiriusXM's the Highway she became the highest charting independent female artist on the Music Row Country Breakout chart in ten years.

    In addition to establishing herself as a performer, Dunn also earned a name within the songwriting community. A song she co-wrote, "Farm Life," was recorded by Colt Ford featuring Justin Moore.

    This guitar-laced blues-country single, in which Dunn exhorts a guy to hurry up and kiss her, became her first Top 50 hit on the Country chart.
