Songfacts®:

  • This song finds Colt Ford duetting with Justin Moore. Ford told Billboard magazine he'd wanted to collaborate with the country star for a long time. "I think Justin Moore is the most underrated country singer in our genre, to be honest with you," he said. "He's one of the best out there. He and I have been friends for a while. We've been trying to do a song for the past two or three records, but just haven't found the right one. I think that one has a great melody, and it's perfect for us to do something about the farm."
  • This is one of the few songs on Thanks For Listening that Ford didn't write. It was composed by Clare Dunn, Blake Bollinger and Benjamin Caver. Dunn has performed as an opening act for Colt Ford.
  • In our interview with Colt Ford, he explained that growing up in Georgia, he could certainly relate to this song. "I know a lot about farm life," he said. "My dad grew up on a farm, and I grew up picking cotton and stuff. So I know that life, and I've spent a lot of time out there."
