  • This was Corey Hart's second single, following up his hit "Sunglasses At Night." Hart was just 19 when he wrote the song, and while it sounds like a girl is the source of his frustration in they lyrics, he was actually writing about his struggle to get a record deal. He kept getting rejected by label after label until he landed an American deal with EMI that paid off when his first album went Gold in the US.
