Songfacts®:

  • This trap anthem finds D-Block Europe's Young Adz and Dirtbike LB issuing a mission statement, in which they flex their statuses in the rap game.

No competition, I only see me
Lady from Paris, and she tell me "Oui"

The South London duo see themselves as figureheads rather than competitors, but are intent on not standing still. "We're just trying to elevate," LB told Apple Music of the song. "We're in our own lane, but even within that: We can't stay in line, or we won't grow."
  • Throughout the song Young Adz and LB talk about their boasy ways. They enjoy life at the top with plenty of women, whips and other fruits of their success. "That's how we feel right now," Young Adz told Apple Music. "We're not new anymore - we've dropped countless great bodies of work, and picked up platinum and gold singles, all independently. Since we came into the industry five years ago, we've been hot, so our confidence didn't come from rap. We're not competing with anyone."
  • Myles Suave directed the video, which shows Young Adz and Dirtbike LB bringing out some high-end vehicles and bikes along with other luxury lifestyle items. There is abundant food and drink as the pair celebrate their successes with their close crew members.

Suave's other credits include Fredo's "Back To Basics," DigDat (feat D-Block Europe)'s "New Dior," and Stay Flee Get Lizzy's "Meant To Be."
