Songfacts®:

  • Dan + Shay open their Where It All Began album with this crowd-participation song. Shay told Taste of Country about the tune: "There's an 'Eh-oh, eh-oh' part," he said. "We played a show with Hunter Hayes and we teach the crowd the 'Eh-ohs' and they sing it back to us. People have fun with that song. It's called 'Show You Off,' so it's about showing a girl off, taking her downtown. It's high energy."
  • This was released as the second single from Where It All Began. Dan + Shay's fans helped pick this as the follow up to "19 You + Me." The duo told Taste of Country: "'Show You Off' has become a fan-favorite at live shows, so choosing it to represent them was a no-brainer."
