Songfacts®:

  • This street song finds Dave discussing his intimate relations with women. Among the girls he discusses are a brown-skinned female from Shepherd's Bush and a lady whose complexion resembles the color of Reese's Pieces chocolate.
  • The titular Professor X is a wheelchair-bound Marvel character with strong telepathic powers. Dave references him during his rhymes about a light-skinned female from Sydenham, London. He compares the girl to Professor X, as both are limited physically (she has a small backside; he has a paralyzed back), but both are strong mentally (she is good at oral sex, he has a powerful brain).
  • The song was originally recorded by Dave for his Pyschodrama album, but was left off the tracklisting. It was eventually included on the soundtrack to season 3 of the Drake executive-produced Top Boy. The Netflix show is a British street-drama series that focuses on a group of people involved in street gangs and drug dealing. Dave plays Modie, a brutal drug dealer on the Summerhouse housing estate in Hackney, East London. The rapper references his role when he rhymes:

    No actin', never went RADA
I'm a top boy like Sully but darker

Dave admits he's never attended RADA, which is a leading drama school in London. He goes on to compare himself to the Top Boy character Sully, who is played by his fellow rapper Kano.
