Songfacts®:

  • Over David Guetta's feel-good piano chords and euphoric drops, Becky Hill and Ella Henderson sing of the power of love.

Can someone tell me what is happening to me?
You're my oxygen, now I can finally breathe
I didn't care for anyone until there was you
Ain't it crazy what love can do?
  • David Guetta previously joined forces with Becky Hill on their joint single "Remember," which reached #3 in the UK in 2021.

"Crazy What Love Can Do" marks Guetta's first collaboration with Ella Henderson.
  • Ella Henderson initially cooked up "Crazy What Love Can Do" with Robert Harvey and Jordan Riley during a writing camp. The Music frontman Robert Harvey also has written songs for Clean Bandit ("Real Love") and Jax Jones ("All 4 U"). Jordan Riley contributed to five tracks on her Everything I Didn't Say album, including the single "Brave."

Unknown to Henderson, the song made its way onto David Guetta's in tray. "I felt like the topline and the melody to the song was perfect to bang on," the English singer told Apple Music. "But then god knows how it even got into David's hands. I got a WhatsApp one day from him - I don't know how he got my number - but he was like, 'I really want you and Becky Hill to sing this song together.' Which was amazing. I couldn't have wished for anyone else to have collaborated with."

Joel Corry's regular production assistants Lewis Thompson and Neave Applebaum helped with the production. Thompson also co-wrote Guetta and Hill's "Remember" collaboration.
