• David Guetta teams up with singer Bebe Rexha for this euphoric club tune. "I'm Good (Blue)" heavily samples Eiffel 65's "Blue (Da Ba Dee)," borrowing the 1998 dance classic's synth riff for its piano hook and its chorus melody for its own chorus.
  
  "It's nostalgic to when I was younger," Rexha told Rolling Stone. "Listening to Eiffel 65's original song and it was just a fun record that we put together naturally."
• Guetta and Rexha wrote "I'm Good (Blue)" with Kamille (Clean Bandit's "Solo," Little Mix's "Black Magic" and "Shout Out To My Ex") and Plested (Little Mix's "Touch," Lewis Capaldi's "Before You Go"). It finds Rexha singing of feeling good as she looks forward to a night out on the dance floor.
• Guetta and Rexha recorded the demo in the mid-2010s and debuted the song at Miami EDM festival, Ultra, in 2017. They didn't complete it back then, but when a snippet of their song went viral on TikTok in August 2022, Guetta recognized it was time to finish it. Rexha laid down new vocals and Guetta came up with a different instrumental production, then they released it as a single on August 26, 2022.
• Guetta and Bebe Rexha previously collaborated on the French DJ's hit singles "Hey Mama" and "Say My Name" as well as his 2021 track "Family."
• This isn't the first time there's been a hit song based on "Blue (Da Ba Dee)." Back in 2009, Wynter Gordon sang its chorus in Flo Rida's 2009 single "Sugar."
• The song climbed to the top of the ARIA Chart, giving Rexha her first #1 in Australia. She previously peaked at #2 with "Meant to Be." Guetta had visited the Australian summit on two previous occasions: 2009's "Sexy Bitch" with Akon and 2010's "Wet" with Snoop Dogg.
• When "I'm Good (Blue)" ascended to the top of the UK singles chart, it became Guetta's seventh UK #1 single and Rexha's first. Guetta's previous visit to the summit was back in 2014 with "Lovers On The Sun" featuring Sam Martin.
