Album: Set the Mood (2007)

Songfacts®:

  • Jordan was asked by the Observer Music Monthly October 14, 2007, who he is referring to in the line "I've learned from teachers that could orchestrate the whole wide world?" He replied: "'Jill Sinclair and Trevor Horn. Every time I sing it I remember how Jill used to be. She was so confident, so sure. I want to be like her when I'm older." Jill Sinclair is producer Trevor Horn's wife. In the middle of the recording of the album tragedy struck when Horn and Sinclair's 22-year-old son Aaron accidentally shot his mother in the neck with his air rifle, leaving her in a coma.
