  • Kushner first shared a snatch of the chorus in November 2021 on TikTok. It went viral ensuing huge interest by the time he released the full song on March 4, 2022. Kushner's management had successfully used a similar marketing strategy for his previous single, "Miserable Man."
  • Chicago singer-songwriter Alexander 23 (birth name Alexander Glantz) produced the track. He'd previously helped Daniel Nigro helm Olivia Rodrigo's hit song "Good 4 U."
