  • This playful cut finds Bentley singing the simple refrain: "Diamonds make babies/And babies make mamas/And mamas make daddies make changes they don't always wanta." The song was penned by Jim Beavers, Chris Stapleton and Lee Thomas Miller and is one of six tracks on Home that Bentley didn't write. "All my friends are songwriters and musicians," Bentley told USA Today. "It's fun to have them included in this record, have them be part of the story and to find songs that made the album feel like it had a unique center to it."
  • Bentley first heard the song when Jim Beavers played it for a songwriters' night at Joe's Pub in New York City. "Jim and I go way back; we always have little surprises for each other," recalled the singer. "He pulled that song out of his pocket and played it. It blew me away. The whole place was on the floor, dying laughing. He looked over at me, and I was like, 'Uh, I'll put that one on hold, please?'"
  • When Beavers played Bentley the song, the singer's wife, Cassidy, was pregnant with their second child, so he could certainly relate to it. "It's a cautionary tale, in a good way, to all those fans out there thinking about taking that next step," said Bentley. "It's a powerful thing, the ring."
  • The song was re-recorded by Joe Nichols for his 2017 Never Gets Old album. He told Billboard magazine that the song makes him chuckle.

"It's a funny message, but so true," Nichols said "It's a fun message for men and women. It's true. It starts with a little ring, and then you have a family before you know it. I've always liked those songs that are tongue-in-cheek a little bit, but have a little half-truth. I love that kind of stuff. Everything about it made me happy."
